The School of Pharmacy and Nutrition has celebrated the welcomeworkshop to the students of Master's Degree who this year will take one of its three programs: the Master's Degree European in Food, Nutrition and Metabolism (E-MENU), the Master's Degree in research, development and Medication Innovation (MIDI) and the Master's Degree in design Galenic and Manufacturing in the Pharmaceutical Industry (MDGFI).

In total, 57 students will take one of the three master's degrees at School in the 2018-19 academic year. In the case of the Master's Degree E-MENU, the 18 new students come from Spain, Peru, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Mexico and Venezuela. In the case of MIDI, the 30 new students are graduates from 10 different Spanish universities.

The MDGFI, on the other hand, will have 9 new students, since the characteristics of the program - with a very relevant part internship in the Pilot Plant for the Manufacture of Medicines at department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology- require small groups.

During the joint opening of the programs, the dean of the School, Adela López de Cerain, welcomed the new students and spoke about the geographic origin and the different Degrees courses taken by the students. For his part, the director of development of the Center, Alfonso Vericat, encouraged the students to take advantage of the moment and enjoy all the activities that the University offers them.

Both Master's Degree E-MENU and Master's Degree MIDI have been leading the ranking of the most prestigious postgraduate programs in their areas in Spain for several years, prepared by the newspaper El Mundo.
