The III Spanish Parkinson's congress awards the project Renace of the School de Enfermería

The research of the University of Navarra received the award for the best poster in the socio-health category.

Zaragoza has hosted the III Spanish congress on Parkinson's disease, a point of meeting for researchers working on different aspects with the goal to help people affected by this disease. And the quotation did not miss the project Renace, a research led by the School of Nursing of the University of Navarra that analyzes the coexistence of patients and families with Parkinson's disease, as well as the factors that facilitate and / or hinder the process.

The congress awarded the poster presented by the project Renace as the best in the socio-health category. The work highlighted the objectives of the project, the methodology and material employee, the results and conclusions.

The project Renace is a study of the University of Navarra with the participation of health professionals from the University of Navarra, the San Juan Health Center (SNS-Osasunbidea) and Navarra Parkinson (ANAPAR). Clínica Universidad de NavarraSan Juan Health Center (SNS-Osasunbidea) and the association Navarra Parkinson (ANAPAR).

The design of the study is the Combined Methodology, which uses both qualitative and quantitative data . This study will help to bring professionals closer to the reality lived by those affected and their relatives; to design strategies that favor the integration of the process in their lives; and to foster communication between the associations and the health system.
