IESE MBA ranked first in Europe and ninth in the world by The Economist
IESE is the top business school in Europe and ninth in the world, according to a ranking of MBA programs published today by the British magazine The Economist. The top spot is held by the American school Chicago Booth, followed by Darden, Tuck and Harvard.
According to The Economist, the clear winners this year were American schools, occupying eight of the top ten places. The ranking is based on surveys of more than 19,000 MBA students and graduates, as well as data provided by the various schools and the results obtained in previous editions of the ranking. The survey gives special importance to four factors: the creation of new degree program opportunities, professional development and educational experience, salary increase and network .
IESE's Full-Time MBA was launched in 1964 and was the first two-year MBA program in Europe. Since its inception, it has been guide and advised by the Harvard-IESE Advisory Committee. In 1980, the program became the first bilingual MBA in the world. Today, around 80% of the students in this program are foreigners. In addition to this MBA program, IESE offers the Executive MBA and the Global Executive MBA.
