55 University students receive more than 20,000 euros with Banco Santander Erasmus+ grants

The program promotes and encourages excellence through exchange of students between universities.

Banco Santander has awarded 55 scholarships to students of the University of Navarra that will allow them to enjoy international experiences thanks to the Erasmus+ program. Erasmus+ program. A total of 21,700 euros have been awarded, which have been divided into three groups: 2 scholarships of 3,200 euros each; 21 scholarships of 500 euros each; and 32 scholarships of 150 euros each.

The Erasmus+ program promotes and encourages excellence through the exchange of students between universities in the member states of the European Economic Area, plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Turkey and Macedonia. In addition, the scholarships are not only for programs of study, but also for internships in companies.

To be eligible for the Santander Erasmus Scholarships you must be a beneficiary of the Erasmus+ program of mobility of programs of study in Europe and/or internships and have a good academic transcript .

Internships in Germany

Nora Galán, student of 3rd year of Business Business Administration and Management (ADE) of the School of Economicsis one of the beneficiaries with the highest scholarship , 3,200 euros. On June 3, she will begin her internship in Frankfurt, Germany. "Without a doubt, the experience will bring me a lot, not only professionally, since I will be able to apply what I have learned in the classroom, but also in the staff. It's going to be a whole challenge to live in a completely new country, with another culture, another language...".

In his case, he is going to train at Bettzeit, a business created in 2013 and focused on development, online commerce and distribution of household products. "They have different own and acquired brands and market them from the headquarters in Frankfurt to the different European countries. I will be at department in Spain as Business Development Spain. Among the functions I will perform are the optimization of the online store of e-commerce in the Spanish market, the development of new marketing activities, the support of the operational process and the contact with customers". 

In addition, both Nora and the rest of the scholarship students will receive workshops at training on professional skills; digital content with recommendations to live the experience to the fullest and make the best use of resources; and, upon their return, exclusive recruitment opportunities for Banco Santander, talent competitions and much more.
