The University of Navarra is for the first time in the top 250 of the best universities in the world, according to the QS ranking, which published today its thirteenth edition. The university is ranked 245th in the world, up 20 places from the previous year. It has also climbed 114 places since 2012.
The ranking places campus Navarre as the fifth highest teaching center in Spain, only surpassed by large public universities: the University of Barcelona (position 160), which is the only one included in the top 200; and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (203), the Autonomous University of Madrid (210) and the Complutense University of Madrid (239), which are placed in the top 250.

QS World University Ranking 2016 has ordered the employability results based on the 37,800 responses from companies around the world, who were asked by QS managers where they consider the most competent professionals were trained.
At the national level, the University of Navarra ranks second place in the issue of professors per student. The ratio between the academic staff and the number of students "is an indirect indicator of the institutions' commitment to quality teaching ," QS explains.
The center also obtained the silver medal at international outreach: last year the University of Navarra had 10,518 students (7,696 from Degree and 2,822 from postgraduate program), of which 1,849 came from other countries, i.e. 17.5%. For QS, the international outreach of a campus is an aspect that is highly valued by both students and the work market.
Finally, the methodology used by QS World University Rankings takes into account other parameters such as reputation and scientific publications.
