Olga Lizasoáin, recognized for her support of Hospital Pedagogy in Latin America and the Caribbean
The professor participated in the third International congress of the Latin American network for the Right to Education of Hospitalized Children and Young People and in status of Illness.
The professor of the School of Education and PsychologyOlga Lizasoáin received in Santiago de Chile a special recognition for her support and partnership in the development of Hospital Pedagogy in Latin America and the Caribbean. The event took place at the framework of the 3rd International congress of the Latin American network for the Right to Education of Hospitalized Children and Young People and in status of Illness (REDLACEH) held on September 29 and 30, 2016. In said meeting, Professor Lizasoáin gave the inaugural lecture , which was degree scroll "What can schools do for their students in status of illness?"
Professor Lizasoáin also participated in a meeting with representatives of the ministries of Education of Latin America to analyze and consolidate actions related to Hospital Pedagogy, which took place at UNESCO headquarters.
