Activities for all audiences during the University's Science Week
The academic center has organized talks and workshops for schools, a exhibition on insects, conferences with experts on biodiversity, and a dinner with science.

The University of Navarra joins one more year the celebration of the Science and Technology Week with activities of knowledge dissemination of science for all audiences.
The School of Science at the university has organized a program of activities for schools (from 4th year of ESO to 2nd year of high school diploma) from November 11 to 15 at the Sciences Building the University of Navarra.
Students will be able to take workshops on biology, physics, Chemistry, microbiology and geology every day at schedule from 10:30 to 12:00. In addition, starting at 12:00, they will be able to enjoy some sessions on various scientific topics: on Monday 11 the researcher of Cima Ana Patiño will give the lecture "You really are what the Genetics wants you to be!"; on Tuesday 12th Professor Jordi Puig will talk about "The human being in nature"; on Wednesday 13th it will be the turn of Professor Enrique Baquero who will give the session "The hidden world of insects"; on Thursday 14th Professors Iker Zuriguel and IñakiEcheverría will talk about "Artificial intelligence in science"; and on Friday 15th Professor Elena Puerta closes the cycle with the lecture "Drugs: would you let your brain deteriorate before its time?".

And on Friday 15 Manuel Quirós will give the session "Biomimicry: regenerative disruptive innovation inspired by Nature". The sessions will be held at 19:30 at Civivox Iturrama (C/Esquíroz, 24).
The Science Museum has also organized on Thursday 14th at the restaurant El high school a "dinner with science" in which the cuisine of Álex Mújica will be combined with the science of the museum: the biology of the txangurro, science in a wine tasting, reversible reactions: why is mayonnaise cut, time or temperature: you have to choose, what is oxidation, the calories in your dessert, why radioactive gin and tonic shines, and much more.
And until November 28th you can visit the exhibition "Insects. Todo lo que cuentan", an in-house production of the Science Museum of the University of Navarra. schedule The entrance is free and the general visiting hours are from Monday to Friday from 14:00 to 20:00 and Saturdays from 09:00 to 14:00.
In addition, complementary workshops of high educational value will be offered. On October 25 and 26 will take place the workshop"Education with live animals", which will allow participants to interact with real exotic species, with an approach in active pedagogy, position entomologist Sergi Romeu. On November 9 will take place "Culinary adventure with edible insects", where the public will be able to explore the world of entomophagy, tasting products made with crickets, ants, worms or grasshoppers, while learning about their nutritional and ecological value. On November 23, the workshop"Insect hunters and the magic of bioluminescence" will offer an experience to learn about species with the ability to emit light, revealing fascinating aspects of their biology and their environment. It will be position by Professor Cristina Sola.
Every year, the School of Science the University of Navarra Science Museum organize knowledge dissemination activities for audiences of all ages as part of Science and Technology Week.
