More than 50 alumni of the University of Navarra's School of Medicine met for the first time at IESE 's building in Madrid.

The event, which was attended by the dean, María Pilar Civeira, and the vice-deans, Secundino Fernández, Marta Ferrer and Jorge Iriarte, was attended by professors, service chiefs, first-year residents and representatives of almost all specialties: cardiologists, pediatricians, ophthalmologists, dentists, psychiatrists, primary care physicians, anesthesiologists, surgeons, etc.Quico Montuenga, graduate in 1985, who was ordained a priest in 2003, was also present.

During its course, the new features of the current Study program, already adapted to Bologna and with a new academic calendar; as well as the use of new educational methodologies -exemplified by the problem-based teaching and the ECOE practical exams- and the internationalization plans of the School.

Finally, the meeting was used to host the presentation of a plan for partnership professor oriented to students, for whom the possibility of doing stays in hospitals outside the Autonomous Community of Navarre was raised.
