The Vice Chancellor of the University, Ignacio Barrera, has appointed Álvaro González Alonso Associate Dean of the School of Canon Law. He replaces Joaquín Sedano at position , Dean of the School from October 2021.
Álvaro González is graduate in Law with Diploma in Economic Law from our University (2003) and graduate (2008) and PhD (2013) in Canon Law from the Pontificia Università della Santa Croce (Rome). At this institution, he taught Canon Marriage Law (2015-19). He has also been vice-director of the Centro di Studi Giuridici sulla Famiglia (2016-19).
Lawyer of the Roman Rota and member of the association Spanish Canonists, he joined the University in 2019. He teaches Marriage Law at the School of Canon Law and at the Master's Degree in Marriage and Family.
