He is arguably the most important architect of the 20th century," said architect Beatriz Colomina at the University of Navarra. The expert, who focused her speech on the Swiss artist, is a professor at Princeton University and is participating these days in the VII International Architecture congress "Journeys in the transition of Spanish architecture towards modernity".

He also pointed out that the author traveled to several countries for inspiration and to develop his professional internship : "In the late 1920s he made a trip to Latin America, where he visited cities such as Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo, and began to develop works for them, not only buildings, but also urban plans. He traveled and worked in various places around the world," he added.

On the theme of congress, the architects' travels, Beatriz Colomina said the following: "To have identified in this congress the topic of the architect's journey is something really intelligent and fundamental. For us, travel is a very important activity, it is part of our training".
