Myriam Marfá is currently working at department in Quality Assurance at Novartis, the same place where she did her work Fin de Master's Degree

"When I finished the Degree in Biotechnology I was very curious to learn about the world of pharmaceutical business . However, my knowledge was very minimal, while the options were many". After several months of searching, Myriam Marfá found the UniversityMaster's Degree in research, development and Drug Innovation offered by School of Pharmacy and Nutrition.
It is a postgraduate program that provides students with a specifictraining to effectively develop activities in different areas related to the drug and its environment, in any activity within the research and development+I of drugs. In fact, in the Study program become especially relevant the research preclinical and clinical , clinical trials, drug registration and patents, up to commercialization. "I felt it was a good tool to discover the different stages of development of the drug and therefore try to better orient my future."
Marfá assures that the training received at Master's Degree has been "an important milestone", as it has opened the doors to his professional degree program : "I was very lucky to be able to do my TFM at department in Quality Assurance at Novartis Farmacéutica S.A . (Barcelona, Spain). This allowed me to apply part of what I learned in some subjects of the Master's Degree, as well as to develop the capacity of analysis, decision and work in a team".
Almost two years later, Myriam is still at Novartis: "I continue in Quality Assurance, department which has allowed me to spend a few months in Nürnberg (Germany) and Madrid. There is nothing more rewarding than working for a business where the focus is always on reimagining medicine to improve patients' lives."
