Professors Ignacio Arellano and Jesús M. Usunáriz, from the group of research Siglo de Oro (GRISO), have intervened in the lecture series "Espíritu novohispano: Puebla como crisol de dos culturas", organized by the School of Humanities of the Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla (UPAEP) in partnership with the administrative office de Cultura del Gobierno del Estado de Puebla (Mexico), the Escuela Taller de training en Restauración de Puebla and the Museo UPAEP. The cycle, dedicated to gloss "the greatness of three hundred years of New Spain", runs from last August until next November, with one lecture every Wednesday. 

Professor Usunáriz's lecture took place virtually on August 25 and was dedicated to "Recipes and cooking on both sides of the Atlantic: the Hispanic world in the 16th and 17th centuries". For his part, Professor Arellano, director of the GRISO, intervened on September 1, also virtually, with the lecture entitled "Baroque festivals: the people have fun".
