Directed by professors Miguel Ángel Alonso del Val and Laura Martínez de Guereñu, this work, which is degree scroll "La forma como relato: Visiones y estrategias en la arquitectura moderna", has already been incorporated into this new program and is the first result in the form of a doctoral thesis that it produces.

The Program in Applied Creativity is a interdisciplinary program that has been organized from the School of Architecture with the ISEM Fashion Business School, with the School of Communication and with the Museo Universidad de Navarra. This program aims to open the possibility of research from the highest academic level to a basic question: the study of how creators (artists) create. Thus, it is intended to give rise to methodological programs of study from very diverse fields and points of view that allow to be operative: to contribute to create better.

In this sense, Larripa's thesis reflects on the creative methodology: in this case the project of architecture, and analyzes how this project is produced at a certain moment in history, that of modern architecture, and studies how a concept, that of form, materializes in a set of operative strategies. In his conclusions, Larripa highlights precisely the presence of "a way of seeing" that directly becomes "a way of doing".

In addition, the wealth of images is an important component in this work, since they collaborate in the elaboration of the story that constitutes the thesis . In addition to serving as visual support, they make the written speech more bearable, helping to "tell the story of buildings". It is capable of explaining the internal history of the projects, unraveling their intentions and vicissitudes, to bring to light their visions and strategies.

The case method used on this occasion allows for a profound reflection on form, formal problems, the formal condition of architecture, and of modern architecture in particular, from its complex and varied points of view.
