A day full of activities and marked by musical talent at patron saint

The School of Education and Psychology celebrated last Wednesday, February 6, its day of patron saint in honor of its three patrons: St. Joseph Calasanz, patron saint of teachers, St. Augustine of Hippo, of pedagogues, and Edith Stein, of psychologists.

The workshop began with a Holy Mass at the chapel of the Amigos Building to continue with a lecture with the Full Professor and director of the Master's Degree University Degree in General Health Psychology (MPGS)Jesús from the source. In this lecture, entitled: "Educating in research and entrepreneurship competencies", the professor emphasized the importance of the research, as the basis for acquiring the data and the knowledge that will later serve to continue with the development of innovation projects, "and continue with the value chain of research and development+I".

The Full Professor appealed to the responsibility of "everyone" to develop this subject of projects and encouraged students, as future educators to get involved in them: "It is important that educational institutions not only teach students the concepts of research and development+I, but we must also ensure that they live the experience, that they participate in this subject of projects".

PATRON SCHOOL OF EDUCATION AND PSYCHOLOGY 2019

Students, teachers and employees of the School then enjoyed several musical performances before giving way to the semifinal of the III edition of the contest The Voice of your School, in which 11 students from Degree and Master's Degree participated.

Afterwards, and to conclude with the workshop, the students participated in sports activities at the sports center.
