Fourteen students of the Schools Ecclesiastical were invested with doctorates.

They come from 11 different countries

On June 5, the ceremony for the investiture of 170 new doctors of the University of Navarra took place at the classroom Magna del Central. Fourteen of them belong to the Ecclesiastical Schools and come from eleven different countries.

With this investiture, according to Alfonso Sánchez Tabernero, President of the University of Navarra, the new doctors acquire a new responsibility, because they become part of the academic staff that has as mission statement "to transmit knowledge to the young students that every year fill our university classrooms".

Our hope," he added, "is that from now on you will spread the 'seal of the University of Navarra', which is transmitted through a demanding way of working, manager and helpful, facing problems with courage; seeking the truth that will lead us to always put the common good before the good staff".

On behalf of the Ecclesiastical Schools , Juan Chapa was present, Dean of the School of TheologyJorge Otaduy, Associate Dean of the School of Canon Law and Rubén Pereda, director of programs of study of the School Ecclesiastic of Philosophy.

Francisco Javier Pueyo Velasco (Spain). thesis The intramundane fullness of the Kingdom of God in the history of theology".

Adolfo Luis Qüerio Casas (Argentina). thesis The theological-moral thought of Charles R. Pinches".

Andrés Pedro Rant Lesar (Argentina). thesis The Argentinean State-Church Relations (1943-1955)".

Andrew Patrick Soane (United Kingdom). thesis Frank Sheed and his world. Popular apologetics in twentieth century England".
