More than 50 volunteers, 141 boxes of basic foodstuffs, cleaning and hygiene products, school supplies, boots and cleaning suits, and 383 liters of water. These are the data obtained by the solidarity collection "UNAVxDANA48H" of the University of Navarra to help the victims in the Valencian Community.
The initiative, launched by Tantaka, the time bank of solidarity of the academic center, was launched on Monday 4th, when several solidarity containers were placed in the esplanades of the School of Communication and Science. On Wednesday afternoon, a 13-meter trailer was on its way to Valencia from the University's sports center with the proceeds of the 48-hour solidarity campaign.
The material will be destined to CEIP La Fila (Alfafar) and to project of volunteer activities "Contigo", promoted by the parish of San Josemaría (Valencia) to help those affected by the DANA. partnership The collection has been carried out with the help of the companies Otundal, Gimex, Color Digital, Comansa SA, and the former student Fernando Munárriz.
