Two participants of the Sports Talent program of the Olympic programs of study Center of the University of Navarra have been summoned to the Winter Universiade 2015.
TECNUN students Jorge Vea and Patricio Fuentes are ice hockey players and will participate in the next edition of the competition to be held in Granada.
With almost 100 years of history and 3,000 athletes participating in the last edition in Turkey, the Winter Universiade has become, in its own right, one of the world's major sporting events. The International University Sports Federation (FISU) is responsible for ensuring that the spirit of the events is maintained and for bringing together the values of sport and culture.
A total of ten disciplines make up the Winter Universiade: Alpine skiing, biathlon, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, freestyle, figure skating, speed skating, curling, ski jumping and ice hockey. It will be in the latter modality, in Granada where our two athletes, Jorge Vea and Patricio Fuentes will compete for the degree scroll.
