More than 1,000 students will participate in a new edition of the University's Open Doors workshop

4,563 applications have been received from Admissions Office for the next academic year.

The University of Navarra has received more than 4,500 applications for admission for the next academic year 2021-22, national and international, for some of the Degrees. The figure corresponds to the December and February calls for applications. The issue number of applications has increased by 22% compared to the same period last year. The next admissions period will close on April 19. 

"This is positive data that encourages us to continue offering families and future students the guidance, information and support they need for their transition to the university stage. Thanks to the efforts of the entire university community we continue to offer face-to-face activities, however, the digital environment is allowing us to reach educational entities and families that otherwise we would not have reached," says Juanjo Cabrera, director of the service of Admissions Office. 

The application process is still open and, after the previous exams held in December and February, the next test will be in April for candidates from all Degrees. After this deadline there will be two more calls in June and July for those Degrees in which there are still vacancies. 

Before, and to provide all the information about the Degrees that are taught in the campus of Pamplona and San Sebastian, the service of Admissions Office of the University of Navarra has launched a new edition of the workshop Open Doors to be held entirely online. Under the slogan "Opening something has never been so easy", the quotation will be held next Saturday, March 13, from 9 am to 7 pm. 

During the workshop, informative sessions will be given on the Admissions Office process, financing options, and accommodationThere will also be a live chat during the entire workshop. In addition, each School will host roundtable discussions and sessions with students and faculty. Interested parties can register at the following link.

The University of Navarra offers every year the so-called Sessions of knowledge dissemination Scientific. This is a catalog with about thirty talks aimed at students of the University of Navarra. high school diploma ranging from archeology or communication in the COVID-19 crisis, to the legal treatment of the Messi case, the new forms of jihadist terrorism, and even an escape room. 

"The sessions have as goal to bring the work professor and research carried out by the University to the schools and institutes of Navarra and the rest of Spain. It is also an attractive way to publicize the offerings of Degrees in a practical and entertaining way," says Jesús Ayala, delegate of the Admissions Office Service in Navarra.

These are free sessions that take place at high school or high school, at modality in person or virtually and are requested through the University of Navarra's Admissions Office Service(www.unav.edu/sesiones)

Since September, 23 schools in Navarra have participated in them. In addition, 52 guidance counselors from different schools and institutes of the region attended a workshop of training designed by the Service of Admissions Office. Likewise, 26 informative sessions specially addressed to parents of prospective students have been organized in partnership with schools and Apymas. Finally, 17 schools have made a visit to Campus, 10 of them in person, following a protocol of safety and risk prevention before the COVID19.
