Students from School of Economics visit the City of Transport
The students of the subject of logistics checked the current status of the sector and attended a class on management of warehouses.
A group of students from the School of Economics and Business Administration of the University of Navarra who are studying subject Logistics visited the City of Transport, to see first hand the status of the sector at present and to learn directly from the management warehouses.
The subject of Logistics tries to show students of Business Administration and Management and Economics the decisions associated with that area of the business, "so that they consider that it is a field in which to develop their professional activity," explains their professor, José Antonio Alfaro. Logistics operations are understood to be all those activities necessary for the production or provision of a service that involve the movement of materials, both within business and outside it.
During the visit, students received two sessions of training in the association Navarre of Transport Entrepreneurs (ANET). The General Manager, Jaime Villanueva, explained the status of the transport sector in Spain and Navarra. David Ciprés and Luis Martínez Abad, from high school Tecnológico de Aragón, talked about the development of a computerized system of management of warehouses.
The students then visited the storeroom regulator of the business Decathlon.
