The School of Economics of the University of Navarra launches a new Master's Degree Executive in Human Resources and Digitalization (EHR&D) to be held in Madrid. The program will be directed by Alberto Andreu and Javier Arellano, professors at School of Economics, and executive and academic directors respectively of Master's Degree.

This postgraduate program is aimed at professionals who need to have a complete and strategic vision of the human resources function, who need to know the latest trends in Human Resources and drive the digital transformation of the business from the management of people, whether they are responsible for a line of business, project managers with a high issue of people to position or professionals in the recruitment of talent.

It is a program with an innovativedesign , based on the life cycle of employee, and how it is impacted at each stage by business strategy, corporate culture, the legal environment and, most especially, by digitalization (HR Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics...).

"With this Master's Degree - explains Ignacio Ferrero, Dean of School- we aim to inspire Personnel Management Service professionals with a positive vision of work. People and work are at the base of the creation of value of business, because a well-done work with a spirit of service has a positive influence on the environment of business and improves society, and at the same time develops the person who performs it. Therefore, the business vision (value generation) must go hand in hand with the person's development (values). This makes Personnel Management Service a fascinating challenge ".

The Master's Degree Executive in Human Resources and Digitalization is formatted as follows part-time (Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings) with face-to-face classes combining the case method, as the main methodology, with activities at group, seminars, conferences and master classes. The faculty will include human resources managers from companies such as Telefónica, EY, Cuatrecasas, BBVA, Korn Ferry, Ferrovial and Siemens-Gamesa, among others.

The life cycle of the employee

The EHR&D will be structured along two axes: a vertical and a horizontal axis. The vertical axis covers each of the phases in which the life cycle of the employee(employee journey) is structured: incorporation; contribution; recognition and compensation; retention and development; and disengagement. The horizontal axis will delve into four dimensions that have a cross-cutting impact on Personnel Management Service : business, technology, culture and leadership, and framework legal.

Javier Arellano, director academic explains that the design of the Program "focuses on the analysis of the person within the organization from two points of view: as an asset core topic of the company to develop its activity(Workforce Planning); and as a professional who has to develop his or her degree program and professional aspirations(Employee Experience). In the alignment of both perspectives lies a good part of the success of the Human Resources Director ".
