The president of the ICO Foundation, Pablo Zalba Bidegain, and the president of the Museum's board of trustees , Ángel Gómez Montoro, have signed this morning a protocol de partnership aimed at jointly promoting artistic and cultural initiatives.

The agreement contemplates the development of activities that fall within the framework of the area of action of both institutions, such as training activities, conferences, seminars, projects of research or temporary exhibitions.

The president of the Fundación ICO, Pablo Zalba, underlined the importance of agreement "because of the convergence of the objectives of promoting and development of art and culture, both of the Museum and the Fundación ICO". He also highlighted the experience of both institutions in the development of educational and cultural projects and advocated the promotion of "the public-private partnership , as in this case, to take advantage of synergies and that each institution contributes its added value".

For his part, the president of board of trustees, Ángel Gómez Montoro, said that "this alliance arises naturally, as we share the desire to investigate and disseminate all branches of knowledge, art being one of the priority subjects". "The support of the ICO Foundation will undoubtedly give a boost to the study of our Collection and artistic production. That is why we at the Museum thank them for their partnership, which is good news for everyone: for the artists, who will be able to develop new projects, and for society, which will be able to get to know and enjoy them".

This is the first protocol of these characteristics that the ICO Foundation and the Museum subscribe. Currently the Museo ICO sample the exhibition 'Cámara y model. Photography of architectural models in Spain, 1925-1970'. Seventeen of the photographs on display at exhibition have been loaned by the Museo Universidad de Navarra. The images show models made by different Spanish architects who donated their archives to the University.
