meeting in Nutrition and Neurosciences for the students of Master's Degree E-MENU

Once again this year - and this is the 11th edition issue - the students of the EuropeanMaster's Degree in Food, Nutrition and Metabolism (E-MENU) of the University of Navarra attended the Nutrition and Neuroscience Meeting, which took place in Bordeaux.

This workshop is part of the international activities that allow students to obtain the accredited specialization of "Master's Degree European". It is also part of the subject "Cápita Selecta en alimentación y salud", of the program offered by the School of Pharmacy and Nutrition.

For one of the attendees, the student of Master's Degree, Adriana Pérez Chávez, this meeting was one hundred percent enriching: "it is a meeting with high-level scientists who, this year, focused on the latest research on the relationship between the gut-brain axis and the role it plays in nutrition and neuroscience". "The speakers, experts in the subject, made us soak up the new lines of research that are enabling a more comprehensive and complete approach to various pathologies through Nutrition", Adriana added.

Likewise, this graduate in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Navarra assures that despite being a short meeting "it was very worthwhile to keep us updated and interact with several of the speakers".

Overall, Adriana considers that the congresses and meetings offered by the Master's Degree E-MENU "are of great importance for our professional development . attend to them opens many doors, you continue with the latest updates in the field, you practice another language, awakens the curiosity of new research and brings you closer to the world of research". "It is - he concludes - a great opportunity to be able attend to these high level professional events."

This year's speakers at congress included experts from School Pharmacy and Nutrition Eva Almirón, Xavier Escoté and Maite Solas.
