Dr. Manuel Alegre, new Simulation Center director
Cristina Honorato will be the deputy director of the center at School of Medicine of the University of Navarra.

"Simulation in the medical field has proven to be very useful in facilitating the skills learning process, optimizing resources and improving patient safety." This is according to Dr. Manuel Alegre, who has been appointed as the new director of the Simulation Center of the School of Medicine of the University of Navarra. Dr. Cristina Honorato will be the new deputy director.
"This year the objectives of the Simulation Center at training of Degree are the creation of practices in schedule free under the project "Remember how"; incorporate clinical scenarios to practices in a larger issue of subjects and improve existing workshops," explains Dr. Manuel Alegre. As for postgraduate program, the Simulation Center will try to increase the range of activities on offer, including those aimed at training for residents.
The Simulation Center of the School of Medicine has as mission statement fundamental to provide the students of Degree and postgraduate program a state-of-the-art standardizedtraining internship in a controlled and safe environment and to improve the medical training . It also provides training in unusual clinical situations, allows the performance of procedures in scenarios that recreate critical situations and reinforces team work , self-directed learning and self-criticism.
