The high school Martín de Azpilcueta, which reports to the School of Canon Law of the University of Navarra, is organizing for November 12, 13 and 14, the XI International Symposium of the XI International Symposium "The Foundations of the Catholic Church. Canonical and civil aspects".

Specialists from the civil and canonical world, from universities such as Valencia, Salamanca, UNED, Rey Juan Carlos, Comillas and Navarra, among others, will meet at quotation in the classroom magna of the Schools Eclesiasticas of the University of Navarra to study and analyze the foundational phenomenon, of ancient canonical tradition and that has found a development B in the life of the Church.

Professor Jorge Otaduypresident of committee , organizer of the Symposium, affirms that "for some years we have been encouraging the project to organize this symposium. We made the decision to carry it out in view of the B increase of the foundational activity in the Church, result, sometimes, of a certain mimicry with the civil society. We did not think, however, that the event would be so opportune, since the Draft Bill of the Foundations Law drafted by the current Government has recently been made public". About a hundred people have registered for the Symposium.
