School of Medicine hosts the XVI edition of a course on maxillofacial surgery

The School of Medicine of the University of Navarra hosted the XVI edition of a course on maxillofacial surgery in which 20 experts from all over Spain participated, including stomatologists, dentists and maxillofacial surgeons. The program was given by Dr. Fernández Bustillo, of the Clínica Universidad de NavarraThe program was given by Dr. Fernandez Bustillo, from the Dental School, and Dr. Oscar Gonzalez, Dr. Jose Montes, Dr. Secundino Fernandez, Dr. Jorge de Abajo and Dr. Peter Baptista.

The goal of the activity has been to present advanced techniques in the placement of dental implants, ambulatory bone reconstruction, updates in the treatment of the atrophic maxilla by means of zygomatic implants and to incorporate the latest advances in dental esthetics of the anterior sector. Departments As Dr. Fernández Bustillo pointed out, "this course is the result of the partnership of the ENT and maxillofacial departments. On this occasion, it has been a great opportunity for the participants to practice on cryopreserved cadavers".
