The University of Navarra, through the Tantaka Solidarity Time Bank, has launched the Christmas Campaign to collect food, toys and clothes.

Until December 17, students and employees of the academic center will be able to collaborate with this campaign. For this purpose, boxes have been installed in the different buildings: Friends, Library Services , Hexagon Building, Communication, Architecture, and sports center. In addition, those who want to collaborate with their time can also do so by signing up as volunteers in some of the projects with which Tantaka collaborates.

The food will go to the residency program of Hermanitas de los Pobres (Pamplona) and to needy families in Cuba, through the Church of La Milagrosa, in Havana, where Jesús María Lusarreta, a priest from Navarre, is the parish priest. Non-perishable food will be collected , especially canned food and food for children (powdered milk, infant cereals, etc.). On the other hand, used clothes in good condition will be distributed to different parishes in Pamplona through Cáritas Parroquial.

The collection of toys will have two target associations : Red Cross, for which new toys can be deposited in the containers of the old Library Services , Hexagon Building, Architecture and sports center; and Cáritas Parroquial, for which second-hand toys in good condition will be collected at School Communication and Amigos Building.
