The School of Law of the University of Navarra has celebrated UNMUNa congress that reproduces the model internal organization and debates of the UN. For three days, more than 150 students took on the role of diplomats representing a state or nation.

The UNMUN (University of Navarra Model United Nations) has as goal to debate, reflect and dialogue on some of the major international problems. To this end, students are organized into five committees: African Union, Crisis Committee, Economic and Social Council, Human Rights Council and Security Council; and a General Assembly.

Most of the participants in this edition came from the Degree in International Relations of the School Law program and the Governance program of the School Economics program. The organization team, which has led the areas of general coordination, logistics, communication, the management of the committees and the moderation of debates, was headed by seven students of International Relations.

At UNMUN, students discuss international policy issues and on the last day, after defending solutions to various problems, participants make a resolution. On this occasion, the main lectures were given by Deputy José María Beneyto and the Chief of Staff of the NATO Maritime Command, Admiral Díaz del Río.
