The President of the University of Navarra, María Iraburu, has appointed Antonio Moreno Ibáñez, Full Professor of Applied Economics, as the new Dean of the School of Economics and Business. He replaces Ignacio Ferrero, who had held the position since 2014.

Antonio Moreno (Logroño, 1975) is graduate in Economics by the University of Navarra (1997) and PhD in Economics by Columbia University (2003). His research interests focus on Macroeconomics and evaluation of Financial Assets.

Advisor of the Bank of Spain from 2020 to 2022, he has held different positions of management in the School of Economics, such as Associate Dean (2007-2013) and director of the Master in Economics and Finance from 2019 to date.

In his extensive research career, with more than 20 articles published in international academic journals, he has been associate editor of the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking and visiting scholar at Columbia University, Yonsei University, Stanford University and the International Monetary Fund, among others.
