The School of Law renews three of its positions committee advisor

María Jesús Arribas (BBVA), Pablo González-Espejo (Uría Menéndez) - replacing Carlos de Cárdenas - and Juan Manuel Fernández (CGPJ), replacing Antonio Monserrat.

Among other issues, this year the advisors discussed the need to double the number of Master's Degree groups at campus in Madrid in order to maintain the established professor-student ratio and the assessment of the first week of training at IESE's campus in New York. "The committee advisor is a financial aid of the first order to achieve a great proximity of the School with the daily application of law and professional legal activity," says the Dean of the School, Jorge Noval, who also appreciates the involvement and the high Degree of commitment of the people who make up the committee.

The committee advisor assists and advises the board Directive of the School of Law in the promotion of the academic programs and activities of the School, in the national and international promotion and in the support and orientation of the professional careers of the students. Its members are in charge of guarding, watching over and promote all initiatives that contribute to improve the academic programs and the adaptation of the School of Law to the needs of its students, as well as to encourage all actions and activities that result in the active participation and presence of the School of Law in society.

Javier Ortega, director of development of the School Law School, remarks that the consultative body "is part of the desire to design academic programs that are in tune with the reality of the legal market in Spain and abroad, the contractors tell us their needs and how we can better prepare our students to meet them".

Composition

With these additions, the committee advisor is formed by: Álvaro Mendiola (Cuatrecasas), Rafael Molina (Linklaters), Javier García de Entrerría (Clifford -Chance), Antonio Sempere (Gómez-Acebo & Pombo), José Ramón Martínez (Garrigues), Javier Fernández Cuenca (Pérez-Llorca), Iñigo Sagardoy (Sagardoy), Javier Quintanilla (IESE Business School), Juan Costa (Ernst & Young), Ignacio Gómez Sancha (DLA Pipper), Javier Ortega (University of Navarra), Jorge Noval (University of Navarra), Emilio Gómez (Hogan Lovells), Juan Martínez Calvo (Deloitte), María Jesús Arribas (BBVA), Pablo González-Espejo (Uría Menéndez) and Juan Manuel Fernández Martínez (CGPJ).
