The University of Navarra will host an international seminar on Comparative Economic History

Professors from different European universities participated in the seminar of research on Comparative Economic History, "Great Britain, France and Spain: the Threeway Struggle for America (1774-1783). A Comparative History" held at the School of Economic and Business Sciences of the University of Navarra.
According to Professor Rafael Torres, organizer of the conference, the event aims to goal "answer in a consensual way the question of how a state managed the war, how efficient it could become and what consequences it had for the Economics and society through the comparative study of the cases of Great Britain, France and Spain".
The speakers were Stephen Conway from University College London, Joël Felix from the University of Reading, Agustín González Enciso and Rafael Torres from School of Economics and Business Administration of the University of Navarra; all of them are members of the international team formed by 17 universities The Contractor State Group.
