Miguel Abete and Oihane Vicario champions of the 13th Junior Trophy of the Navarra Tennis Federation.
The University team is also present on the podium of the veterans' tennis league.
The University of Navarra held the 13th Junior Trophy of the Navarra Tennis Federation. Miguel Abete (AD San Juan) and Oihane Vicario were proclaimed winners. The two finals were very evenly matched and ended with Abete beating his clubmate, Ibai Celada, by 5-7 6-3 6-3, while Vicario defeated Marta Fernandez (AD Oberena) by 6-4 2-6 6-2.
In the semifinal round Miguel Abete overcame Miguel Casares, Ibai overcame Luis San Martín, Oihane overcame Ariadna Pérez and Marta overcame Miriam Villena.
In the consolation, Ibai Perez beat Xabier Rey in the final.
The tennis league for veterans +35 teams came to an end. The veterans tennis team of the University of Navarra was proclaimed champion of 2nd category. A success in the team's debut in the competition. The University of Navarra managed to win in all the heats of group 2.
The team captained by Alberto Sanz was formed by: David García, Jorge Moreno, Miguel Ángel Iriarte, Eduardo Solano, Juanmi Valdes, Aritz Altadil, Felipe Ortuño, Alberto Basurte, Miguel Ángel González and Juan Irisarri.
Club Tenis Pamplona "A" was proclaimed winner. While Club Tenis Pamplona "B" finished as runner-up. In 2nd category, the University of Navarra was champion and Agrupación Deportiva Oberena, runner-up.
