Los alumnos de la Especialidad en Farmacia Industrial y Galénica de la Universidad de Navarra visitan la sede de GlaxoSmithKline
The students of the specialization program in Industrial and Galenic Pharmacy of the University of Navarra visit GlaxoSmithKline headquarters.
The goal of the students' visit was to reinforce knowledge of manufacturing and quality control.
On October 14, eight students of the VIII promotion of the specialization program in Industrial and Galenic Pharmacy of the School of Pharmacy of the University of Navarra visited the facilities of GlaxoSmithKline (GSK Spain) in Aranda de Duero. This business is the only international pharmaceutical company that is researching the prevention and treatment of the three diseases considered by the World Health Organization as priorities: malaria, tuberculosis and AIDS.
Accompanied by the Technician of research Mrs. María Huici Jiménez, they learned first-hand about the facilities of this industry, reinforcing their knowledge of manufacturing and quality protocols.
The students attending were: Verónica Esmoris Valencia, Itxaso Gurrutxaga San Vicente, Beatriz Zoraida Guzmán Alonso, Aurora Martín López, Celia Olmos Cobo, Iria Rodríguez-Mera Barcia, María San Martín Eraso and Ana María Soler Botella.
