Prea(ad)diction sprint, a project to raise awareness of the consequences of tobacco, alcohol, cannabis and opiate use.
On November 15, 20 and 22, the University will host sessions where university students will simulate the harmful effects of these substances.

conference The project multidisciplinary Pre(ad)diction, which belongs to the Healthyclassroom of School of Nursing of the University of Navarra, will hold three awareness-raising sessionson the use of tobacco, alcohol, cannabis and opiates, as well as other behavioral addictions, on November 15, 20 and 22. The sessions will be attended by professors and experts from the University, the Clínica Universidad de Navarra and association Antox.
During the meeting, students will have the opportunity to experience in a simulated way the visual and motor alterations produced by the ingestion of alcohol, cannabis and opiates, with real environments and situations after massive consumption. The effects of other behavioral disorders such as the use of mobile, video games or pornography will also be discussed.
Second edition
This project is part of a research led by professors Idoia Pardavila, from the School Nursing Department; and Aitor Acilu, Amaia Zuzua, María Villanueva and Javier Antón, from the School of ArchitectureThe aim is to give visibility to substance use disorder in the university population. In addition, from this academic year 2023/2024, professors Maira Bes and Silvia Carlos(School of Pharmacy and Nutrition), Elena Puerta (School of Medicine), Bienvenido León and Elena Gutiérrez (School of Communication) and Laura García and Luis Eudave (School of Education andPsychology) have joined the project.
Pre(ad)diction has a service-learning approach at promote the training of student body from real experience, favoring the creation of healthy environments.
