Ensayos de metafísica (Eunsa, 2004) among the representative works of Spanish thought. In the same collection are titles by Unamuno, Ortega y Gasset, Zubiri or Balmes, among others.
Fernando Inciarte (1929-2000) was a professor at the Universities of Cologne, Freiburg im Breisgau and Münster. In 1990 he joined the School of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Navarra as Extraordinary Professor, where he gave seminars, lectures and courses at doctorate.
A great connoisseur of Aristotle's Philosophy , German idealism, phenomenology and Anglo-Saxon linguistic analysis, he is considered one of the figures core topic of the rehabilitation of the Philosophy internship , initiated at the beginning of the seventies.
His deep and wide knowledge of the traditional and modern, classical and current Philosophy is reflected in his hundreds of articles and contributions to international congresses -of an extraordinary finesse and sharpness. He was a tenacious intellectual of oceanic culture, as reflected in his published writings.
After his death in 2000, some posthumous publications have appeared, such as First principles, substance and action. Studies in Aristotle and Aristotelianism, Brief theory of modern Spain or Metaphysics after the end of metaphysics. Also, several editions of books have been prepared that include articles or lectures that had not been published or were difficult to access: Liberalismo y republicanismo.
