The School of Architecture of the University of Navarra and the Pamplona City Council held on Saturday, October 8 at the place de los Fueros the XI edition of the school contest 'Draw Pamplona'. During the competition, students from 3rd to 6th of Education Primary captured their vision of the capital of Navarre in their drawings. Also, the workshop was attended by Enrique Maya, Mayor of Pamplona and graduate of the School.

The aim of this activity is to encourage artistic creation, as well as for primary school students to get to know their city. The competition establishes two categories, one for 3rd and 4th grade students (category A) and the other for 5th and 6th grade students (category B).
In previous editions, the Pamplona schoolchildren have drawn places such as the Calle Mayor, the place de Recoletas, the place de la Inmaculada, the grounds of the Citadel or the place del Baluarte.

The contest prizes consist of drawing material vouchers, both for the three winning students in each category and for their schools. Specifically, the school winners of the first award get material worth 450 euros each, while their schools are given another voucher of 750 euros; the winners of the second award enjoy material worth 300 euros each, plus 450 euros for the high school; and, finally, the third place winners get vouchers of 150 euros for the author and 300 euros for the schools they represent. In addition, all participants in the second phase receive a diploma.

The winning works, along with all those made in the second phase, will be exhibited at the conference room de Descalzos, 72 of the area of Education and Culture of the City Council, from October 21 to November 20.
