Facilitate a point of meeting where parents can share perceptions, emotions and experience on how to raise children with the support of health professionals. That is the goal of the PUEDES Infancia Program , which the School of Nursing of the University of Navarra has launched. The project is open to all Navarre families with children between 2 and 5 years old.

The aim of the study is for health professionals to help parents in the task of educating their children and, at the same time, to carry out a research in this field. To this end, the program consists of different sessions throughout May and June.

The research will randomly divide the participants into two groups: one that will receive all the sessions and questionnaires from assessment; and another that will participate only in the first session, a final session and the evaluations.

Healthy parenting involves the commitment of parents to foster children's care, interests and promote their maximum development among the healthiest options. It is considered a right of children, and is guide under "positive parenting", which recognizes the need for parents to have sufficient supports to fulfill their responsibilities in the Education of their children.

The PUEDES Infancia Program is part of the project of research Sinergia, of the School of Nursing of the University of Navarra, which is financed by the Fund of research partner -sanitaria (FIS) of the Carlos III Institute, the University Foundation of Navarra of the University of Navarra (PIUNA) and the project "Tú eliges, tú decides" of the Civic Bank of Caja Navarra. Its mission statement is the development of interventions oriented to health promotion and disease prevention in the child population working in several areas (family, educational and health) and taking into account the needs of children, their families, their resources and the context in which they live.
