The video 'Your pharmacy closer than ever', made by students Marta Vila, Carmen Rubio-Wike and Joaquín Vázquez from high school Tierrallana-Entrepinos de Huelva, has won the seventh edition of the contest 'Vidiomas: tu ciudad en el extranjero' of the University of Navarra. The competition, organized by ISSA School of Management Assistants, has counted with the participation of 172 students of 4th ESO and high school diploma from 17 schools in Spain. 

The winning video, directed by teacher Mª José Ceballos, competed with 62 other entries submitted to the contest, whose theme this year focused on "A business in your city". The goal of competition is to promote the use of modern languages (English, French or German), communication skills, work in a team and employment of new technologies. 

The jury, composed of professors of Degree in attendance of Management Assistant Management, has distinguished the winning video for "his work speech, which highlights the fluency, the appropriateness of the vocabulary and the variety of it". The jury also positively valued "the staging of work". In addition, it was the most voted video up to the final date (the morning of May 8 at 10 a.m.) with 835 votes. This aspect accounted for 25% of the grade. The three members of the team and the teacher who coordinated them will each receive an Amazon card valued at 100 euros, as well as participation in a "creative workshop" for the whole class at the Museum of the University of Navarra. 

result In addition, Sergio González, Teresa Larrañaga and Iñigo Benito, students of high school /IES San Jose Jesuitak Ikastetxea of Durango (Vizcaya), havewon the raffle organized among the participating works, for attend to the online summer course in English "The World of Business", which will take place from June 22 to 25.

Each tutor will receive in the next few days a form with the general evaluation of the works submitted on their behalf.

First edition of 'Vidiomas Europa

This year the first edition of 'Vidiomas Europa' was also launched in those countries where there is a representative of the University of Navarra. Videos were sent from schools in Russia, Romania, Hungary and Poland. 

The teams had to present their work under the same conditions as Vidiomas España but the speech had to be elaborated in Spanish. The winner of this first edition was the work made by a team from the National Pedagogical high school "Reina Maria" in Ploiesti, Romania. The video summarizes the activity of a transport business and was produced by the RobyDei team, led by Professor Guillermo José Penades.
