The twelve most in-demand professions in artificial intelligence and science data for the future

IndesIA, association for the promotion of Economics of data and AI, presented its study in a workshop of work with DATAI researchers at the University of Navarra.

The campus of the University of Navarra in Madrid recently hosted a workshop of work between researchers of the high school of Science of the data and Artificial Intelligence of the University-DATAI and IndesIA, the association for the promotion of the Economics of data and artificial intelligence in the industry integrated by Repsol, Gestamp, Navantia, Técnicas Reunidas, Telefónica, Microsoft, Airbus and Ferrovial, with the support of the Basque Artificial Intelligence Center (BAIC) and Accenture.

With the degree scroll "Data Steward, ML Engineer, IoT Specialist... Do you know the most demanded professions in Data and AI in the future?", Nuria Ávalos, General Director IndesIA and Director of Digital Consortia at Repsol and Adolfo Menéndez, Data Community Senior Manager at Repsol presented the study of training profiles in artificial intelligence that will be the most demanded in the short and medium term deadline. A study developed by IndesIA with the main Spanish industrial companies. 

According to this report, the 12 most needed professions will be machine learning engineers, architects of data, engineers of data, specialists in the internet of things, scientists of data, visualizers of data, specialists in the governance of data, owners of data, translators of business data , citizens of science of data, specialists in industry 4.0 and analysts of data.

The study also details the skills and competencies that these twelve profiles will need to have , such as data analytics and statistics, the implementation of analytical models and platforms that allow users to build applications that facilitate decision making and help the organization to learn, understand and improve; programming, development of methodologies and processes to manage the life cycle of products and services; the creation of business intelligence platforms, of business engineering, , enterprise architecture, data quality and governance, and visualization of , security and management of IoT technologies, enterprise architecture, data quality and governance, and visualization of , security and management of IoT technologies, and the management of IoT technologies; the creation of business intelligence platforms, the knowledge of data engineering, enterprise architecture, data quality and governance, the management and visualization of data, security and the management of IoT technologies, for the management of the flow of data massively (Big Data) from sensors, application of predictive analytics, text mining, cloud computing, data mining and data lakes.

The meeting is part of the partnership agreement signed between DATAI and IndesIA that includes courses, seminars and training programs. The agreement contemplates the participation of IndesIA's partner companies in the realization and presentation of use cases within the program of area Big Data of the university. In addition, it is planned to design its own degrees to cover the professional profiles defined in the study.
