2011 Science and Nature Photography Contest Awards Presented
Leyre Mozota has obtained the first award of a competition that bets on new technologies to facilitate participation.
The School of Science the University of Navarra has announced submission the 2011 Photography, Science, and Nature Contest. The awards went to high school diploma students high school diploma García Gil—from high school Zurita high school in Zaragoza—and Leire Mozota Alonso—from high school Montal-Calasanz high school , also in Zaragoza—for the photographs "Kinetic Energy" and "Winter Rest," respectively. In addition, Lorena Simón García received second award the image “Natural Beauty.”
This contest is part of the activities of the Science, Innovation and Technology Weeks and is developed in partnership with the Innovation Agency of Navarra (Anain) and the Government of Navarra. Its goal is to bring science, technology, research and nature to citizens through an artistic and aesthetic vision suggested through images. To participate, photographs must be sent through the facebook page of the contest itself.
