2011 Science and Nature Photography Contest Awards Presented
Leyre Mozota has obtained the first award of a competition that bets on new technologies to facilitate participation.
The School of Sciences of the University of Navarra has celebrated the submission of awards of the Photography Contest, Science and Nature 2011. The awards went to the students from high school diploma Paula García Gil -from high school Jerónimo Zurita, of Zaragoza- and Leire Mozota Alonso -from high school Interbachillerato Montal-Calasanz, also of Zaragoza- for the photographs "Kinetic energy" and "Winter rest", respectively. On the other hand, Lorena Simón García received the second prize award for the image "Natural beauty".
This contest is part of the activities of the Science, Innovation and Technology Weeks and is developed in partnership with the Innovation Agency of Navarra (Anain) and the Government of Navarra. Its goal is to bring science, technology, research and nature closer to citizens through an artistic and aesthetic vision suggested through images. To participate, photographs must be sent through the facebook page of the contest itself.
