About twenty teachers and students from licentiate degree and doctorate made a pilgrimage to the Holy Land during the Christmas vacations. The plan, organized from December 29 to January 5, was also joined by some priests who were friends of the participants.

During the pilgrimage, which took place a couple of years ago and was a success, they visited Haifa (Mount Carmel), Cana, Nazareth, the area around Lake Tiberias, the Jordan River, Jericho, the Dead Sea (Qumran), Bethlehem, Ain Karem, Bethany and the main holy places of Jerusalem (Gethsemane, Mount of Olives, Mount Zion, the Wailing Wall, Calvary and the Holy Sepulcher, etc.).

Professor Diego Pérez Gondar, organizer of the trip, assures that "the participants have returned so enthusiastic that some of them want to repeat the experience" when they have the opportunity.

In addition, Professor Pérez Gondar said that in April a dozen students from specialization program of Biblical Theology will participate in a pilgrimage to the holy places together with students and professors from the universities of Salamanca, Granada and San Dámaso de Madrid, who are studying Geography, History and Biblical Archaeology.
