Six graduates of the University, distinguished with National End-of-Semester Awards degree program

Among the award winners is Cristina Aguerrea, from Pamplona, Human Nutrition and Dietetics.

Six graduates of the University of Navarra have been awarded by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport with the National Awards of End of degree program of Education University 2012-2013, which recognize the best records. Among them is Cristina Aguerrea from Pamplona, a graduate in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, who has obtained a third award.

The other winners from the academic center are Inmaculada Hernández, a graduate in Pharmacy from Soria; David del Río, from San Sebastian, graduate in Telecommunication Systems Engineering; and José María Álvarez, from Barcelona, who studied Economics with the support of the Alumni ScholarshipsThey have obtained a second prize of 2,650 euros in this call for applications, award.

Likewise, Pilar Menéndez, with a degree in Biochemistry and from Zaragoza; and Oihane Mitxelena, graduated in Biomedical Engineering and from Oiartzun (Gipuzkoa), have obtained, together with Cristina Aguerrea from Navarre, third prizes of 2,200 euros.

For Cristina Aguerrea, the award has been a surprise: "Although you do not study for it, it is always comforting to receive recognition for your work and your perseverance. A award for everything you give up by staying at home and studying". This former student worked until a few months ago as a dietician-nutritionist at residency program Landazábal.

Oihane Mitxelena says: "It is always an honor to be recognized for a well done work ". She is currently doing her doctoral thesis at the Tecnun School of Engineering, while at the same time working at the Technology Center Ceit-IK4. "This award means to me to see that if you have worked hard before you get good results. It's a final push in the year and a half I have left at postgraduate program," she says.
