Xabier Urtiaga, graduate of the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra, won the first award in the adult category of the fast painting contest held on the 50th anniversary of the apse of the Basilica of Arantzazu. A total of 51 painters from the Basque Country, León, Burgos and Logroño participated. The jury was composed of the artists Antonio López and Julio López Hernández.
