The submission of the awards was held on October 15, on the occasion of the reception for students that is held annually in order to publicize the services offered by the high school of Doctors, and to which they can already access as precollegiate.

In addition to the winning work , endowed with 600 euros, two runners-up prizes of 300 euros were awarded, which also went to students of the School. They are the cases entitled 'Self-prescription of Semaglutide: the risk of ignoring medical indications', presented by Álvaro Lasarte Vivas and Julio Muro Iturain, and 'Influencers and advertising... anything goes', by Irati Nuin Del Rio, Irene Colomo Zufía and Adriana Alegría Etayo.

As established in the instructions of the contest, the amount of the prizes will be donated to a project or solidarity organization related to activities in the field of health selected by the winners. In this edition, 136 medical students from Schools in Navarra participated in the competition and 47 cases were presented, some individually and others in teams.

"The purpose of competition is to emphasize that the medical work has a human dimension that is inseparable from its technical dimension. And that any medical action requires a careful analysis of facts and values," said Dr. Pilar León, administrative assistant of the Deontology Commission of the high school of Doctors of Navarra. "Participation in the competition gives importance to deliberation and respectful dialogue with the multiple situations that students have experienced throughout their programs of study and that will be part of their professional life".
