Juan Cruz Ripoll, delegate and Adjunct Professor of School of Education and Psychology, explained different study techniques that help improve the academic performance of students, including those with ADHD (Hyperactivity Deficit Disorder).

In this second session of the series "Educating Today: the teacher's current challenges", the professor detailed the learning process, the problems and mistakes that students make in each phase of study and their possible solutions.

Ripoll stressed the importance of having a prior organization. He proposed a complementary system to that of diary, the calendar, which financial aid to know, at a glance, what should be prepared and what should be given priority. In addition, he spoke about how we should set objectives every day for student . The latter should ask himself: "What do I want to know, what do I want to master".

After this, the student should make a first reading, raise doubts and resolve them. The use of post-it notes can be very effective at this point, and can also serve as guide to make a first outline. Once the doubts have been resolved, the student can begin to establish relationships with this new information, facilitating learning. "Anything that is doing something with the information financial aid to study," he noted.

Ripoll suggested other techniques to promote recall . Among them, he recommends mnemonic strategies for information that is difficult to remember. This is one of the tactics that fosters creativity. The professor also stressed that this strategy should be guided by staff professor , proposing different tricks to memorize different subject content.
