Final Projects Master's Degree in Pharmacy and Nutrition: research and national and international industry.

In total, 24 students from Master's Degree MIDI, 22 from Master's Degree E-MENU and 9 from MDGFI will carry out their TFM.

The three programs Master's Degree of the School of Pharmacy and Nutrition of the University of Navarra have already closed the Final Projects Master's Degree to be carried out by their students. Twenty-four future postgraduates will begin their FMT in the Master's Degree in research, development and Drug Innovation (MIDI); twenty-two in the Master's Degree European in Nutrition, Food and Metabolism (E-MENU); and nine students in the Master's Degree in design Galenic and Manufacturing in the Pharmaceutical Industry (MDGFI).

In the case of MIDI -whose TFMs have just started in June and will last until December- nine of the works have been developed in different Departments of the University, the CIMA or the Clínica Universidad de Navarrathirteen have been carried out in national pharmaceutical industries - at PharmaMar Laboratories, Novartis, Progenika Biopharma, Geiserpharma, Biobide, Azierta, ZIP Solutions, Bionaturis, Bio Praxis Research, Ojerpharma and Biosasun - and two at international level - at Hoffmann-La Roche in Basel (Switzerland) and at John Moores University in Liverpool (UK).

The future graduates of Master's Degree E-MENU, on the other hand, are carrying out their Final Projects Master's Degree from April to September within different groups of research. In these groups they are supervised by a tutor or several tutors, belonging to the areas of functional food, food safety, molecular nutrition, nutritional epidemiology and personalized nutrition. Three students have also chosen European universities to do their TFM: the University of Helsinki (Finland), the University of Maastricht (Holland) and the University of Copenhagen (Denmark).

MDGFI: 100% paid internships

The internships at the Master's Degree in design Galenic and Manufacturing in the Pharmaceutical Industry (MDGFI) are, in 100% of cases, paid. The period of execution, for its part, takes place from September 2018 to September 2019. Thus, in September 2018, the FMTs of this postgraduate program will start in companies such as GlaxoSmithkline, Novartis, Baxter, Teva, Cinfa and 3P Biopharmaceuticals; within their Departments of Quality control, Production, Quality Assurance, etc.
