The teaching internship Unit is a unit whose function is to develop practical knowledge in coordination with the rest of the faculty, as well as to ensure the training internship of the School's students. This unit hosts the Supervised Clinicalinternship - a planned activity that allows the nursing student to acquire, with the financial aid of the professor team, the necessary skills for the practice of the profession - and the Simulatedinternship - through the realization of practices in the Nursing Simulation Center, a high fidelity center that simulates environments and real situations of the work of nursing professionals in different environments.

All this is part of the Practicum of the Degree of Nursing, subject of obligatory character that begins to be taken from the first year of programs of study university.
