During the ceremony, the director of the Sports ServiceJavier Trigo, encouraged them to take advantage of the experience of being surrounded by other students who are also athletes and to benefit from the personalized services available to them as part of the program.

The Talento Deportivo students were able to listen to the testimonies of Nicolás Quijera, Spanish javelin champion, and Miriam Araujo, handball player. Both students were able to spend a year in the United States where they continued to practice their sport. Both Nicolás and Miriam acknowledged that the experience was possible thanks to the support they received from Talento Deportivo, which facilitated the procedures to obtain a exchange with American universities.

For his part, the Alumni Vice President , Tomás Gómez Acebo, received them in the hall of Degree of the University. In this pleasant meeting he thanked them for representing the University of Navarra in their respective sports.

Thanks to Sports Talent Program, students can combine programs of study with the sport in which they are federated. In addition to having facilities to organize their programs of study, they have a personalized medical and nutritional follow-up with the goal to maintain a high performance when competing.
