Last Saturday, November 15 at the Larrabide stadium in Pamplona took place the Navarre Senior Combat Championship 2014, where up to 10 competitors from the University of Navarra Sports Club participated, of which four managed to get on the podium:

• Victoria Jaso, 57-57kg, GOLD

• Hector Santiago, 68-80kg, SILVER

• José Galindo, 68-80kg, BRONZE

• Diego Astrain, +80kg, BRONZE

They also participated, although with worse luck:

• María Contreras, Lydia and Amaya in -57kg

• Javier Huarte and Mikel Perez in -80kg

• Ferrán Codés in -68kg

 

Similarly last November 9, 2014, several taekwondists from the University of Navarra Club traveled to Glasgow to participate in the Scottish Open. They obtained the following results:

• María Contreras, Senior Female -57kg category, SILVER

• David García Ros, category Master Male -80kg, SILVER

• Ferrán Codés and Javier Huarte performed well although they did not reach the podium.
