The University of Navarra, together with the School Law School, has held a new edition of UNMUN (University of Navarra Model United Nations), a congress that simulates the conference of work of the United Nations and in which the main issues affecting the world order are analyzed and debated.

Carlota Martínez Garcés and Carmen Naranjo, third year students of the Degree in Management Assistant, are two of the twenty-eight students of the ISSA-School of Management Assistants who have been part of the committee organization.

team member For the third consecutive year, Carlota has been in charge of support in the areas of Logistics and protocol: "Three editions later, I continue to participate in this event because, undoubtedly, it enriches our programs of study. Congresses like UNMUN help us to handle situations that we will encounter in real life. It's a good way to build a base and to know how to manage unforeseen events," he explains. When he takes stock, he says that "each time it gets better and better, and this time it went very well.

In addition to being able to put on internship many issues learned in different subjects, Carmen believes that this year's experience has helped her, among other things, "to develop the ability to work in a team, to plan, to make risky decisions while controlling stress, to be very patient and, above all, to listen to others and to give in". As Logistics Coordinator, she has carried out a wide range of tasks, from contracting the catering, to reservation of classrooms or helping those who come from outside to locate the hotel and the University.

Next year, when a new edition of UNMUN will be organized, Carlota and Carmen will be on the Curricular Internships in a business and, although they will not be able to participate in the organization, they do not hesitate to encourage other students: "UNMUN brings to the student, not only to know what the UN is, how it works, its rules and other issues; financial aid to discover different employment opportunities for those who study the Degree in Management Assistant: Logistics, Communication, protocol, Politics...", explains Carmen. For her part, Carlota assures that she will be following the next edition closely to see how it develops.
