The Chair of Heritage and Art of Navarre organizes conferences on "Gothic Art in Navarre".

The meetings took place from May 24 to 26 at the Civivox Condestable

The Chair of Heritage and Navarrese Art of the University of Navarra, together with the Government of Navarra, organized from May 24th to 26th a lecture series in Civivox Condestable under the degree scroll "El arte gótico en Navarra".

The sessions, entrance free until fill in capacity, began on Tuesday 24 at 18 hours with a discussion paper entitled "The introduction and dissemination of classical Gothic architecture", to position Professor Carlos Martínez Álava, I.E.S. Mendillorri. Afterwards, Clara Fernández-Ladreda, professor at the University of Navarra, spoke on "The sculpture of the radiant Gothic beyond the cathedral".

The same speakers intervened on Wednesday 25 with the conferences "Gothic mural painting: Juan Oliver and the School of Pamplona" and "Johan Lome and courtly sculpture in the times of Charles III and Blanca", respectively.

On Thursday 26th, Javier Martínez de Aguirre, professor at the Complutense University of Madrid, spoke on "Architectural magnificence at the court of Charles III and his relatives", followed by Professor Carmen Lacarra Ducay, from the University of Zaragoza, who spoke on "15th century panel painting".
